The 14th annual Potluck in the Park of the Alliance for Cultural and Ethnic Harmony was a smashing success—close to 200 adults, teens, and kids turned out to share fun, fellowship, and dozens of delicious foods at Ransom Park in Park Township on Sunday, August 12, 2012.

Music by Greg Hulsebos and his grandson Christian, the Nuevo Latino dancers, balloon animals by Kim Romero, face painting by Stefanie Brown, sack races organized by Norma Luna, games with Yessinia Aguirre, the popular piñata created by Las Comadritas and stuffed with candy by Liz Barveld, backpacks and pens contributed by LEDA--all added to a wonderful afternoon. Countries represented included Mexico, Panama, Venezuela, Chile, France, Ukraine, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Puerto Rico, and the U.S.

In addition to the people mentioned above, thanks to Marvin Younger, Bin Lim, Patricia Bradfield, Al and Peg Minert, Eunice Ruiz, Sarah Salguerda, and Herb and Ann Weller.
